Guest Leveller
Has anybody used the new Deben terrier finder (the one with the magnetic on/off collars) with standard mk3 ferret collars? if so how does it perform? Quote Link to post
Hob&Jill 258
Might be wrong but I think the MK3 ferret finder and the MK3 terrier finder are exactly the same, the only diffence being the length of the collar strap... Quote Link to post
Guest Leveller
They are the same I'm on about the new 40ft terrier finder Quote Link to post
twelsh 349
spot on mate never let me down straight on the nose well worth the money Quote Link to post
TonyT2 0
They are the same I'm on about the new 40ft terrier finder 40 foot ? not seen em. Must be worth a look. Hows it compare with a B&F T Quote Link to post
Guest Leveller
It's never gonna be a B&F but if it can be used with ferret collars too then it's got that on its side hasn't it? I'd buy a B&F tommorow if they did ferret collars too! Quote Link to post
Guest WILF
They more than likely can M, but if they did that then they would not get your money twice Quote Link to post
Guest Leveller
Millet the standard mk3 is fully interchangeable twixt ferret and terrier but now they've brought out one for terriers that works over 40ft but you do need a different collar for it, that's not a problem I don't mind buying another collar but if the box doesn't work with the standard mk3 ferret collars then I'm gonna keep my mk1 for ferreting and by a B&F for earthwork. It would be good if the new box works with the mk3 ferret collars and is calibrated properly to but I bet it doesn't. I suppose really what I ought to do is ring Deben Quote Link to post
fish 148
40 feet pissing long way to dig down. .only pulling yor leg Quote Link to post
Guest WILF
No matter what, IMHO if anyone values their terrier then B&F is the only way to go. Quote Link to post
Guest Leveller
It does work with the ferret collars if anybody's intrested so it looks like I'll be getting one Quote Link to post
