Alsone 789
I just ran it through a ballistic calculator using the figures in the video ie 36ft lbs = 875.63 fps, Barracuda Match 21.14gr pellet, BC 0.039, Dia .21 (inch): http://www.airguns.net/trajectory.php http://www.hn-sport.de/en/products/air-gun-pellets/hunting-and-field-target/baracuda-match.html Drop came out at 7.73 inches at 55 yds with a 45 yd zero. Another confusion of yds and cm's it seems. More than 2 inches is a very significant drop in 10yds though and given the distance, those ballistics and comparative lack of energy (25ft lbs) , would have me reaching for a rimmy! The drop on your figures between 45 and 55 yards appears to be 2.67" with a 45 yard zero, not 7.73". 7.73" at 55 yards - 5.06" at 45 yards = 2.67" Edited October 26, 2015 by Deker Quote Link to post
Alsone 789
The calculation, as it saves everyone having to enter the figures: I see your point about between 45 and 55 yds. It should have said 7.73 inches overall. Now edited. Edited October 26, 2015 by Alsone Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Look at the figure comparible to the one you have highlighted at 45 yards and compare it with your figure at 55 yards. Your 7.73" drop is the total drop since the pellet left the barrel, not the drop between 45-55 yards! Edited October 26, 2015 by Deker Quote Link to post
