Bsa Ultra

Recommended Posts

Evening all, I have used the bsa ultra for a few years now and feel no need to change, the only real thing I feel that I would change is that it is only single shot, and in situations where you had a couple of squirrels or rats feeding over a baited spot and give you a chance after taking one out I think I have missed out on a lot of kills. I just wanted a few opinions on the gun and if others use it, also I more thing ? because of the guns size (very short) is it worth fitting a bipod as a lot of my shooting is prone due to flatland so not much cover when creepin up on bunnys ?

Cheers ss

You'll get soooo many replies to this. It's almost as talked about as the old calibre chit chat.

Top top PCP. Nothing wrong with single shot, in my opinion. Tack driver. And yes get a pod. If you think it will aid your accuracy more.

Look at getting it reg'd... It'll transform the little thing into a sergical instrument as good as any worth 3 x as much.

V'mans the chap to speak too. Swears by his.

Use to be a very under rated gun , but now every one is learning how good they are , I have had one for about five years and at first I hated it , that was until I spoke to Darrin (XTX AIR) about a reg ,that made a good gun in to one of the best PCP out there , I just don't like un regged guns but that's just me

I do have a bi-pod on mine but manly use it for resting the gun when in not use , most of my shooting is of the knee or resting on gates or posts

Like David said you can buy a multi shot adapter ,the only trouble is you have to index it manually each time
