Northern Rock 507
Had a great youth with ferrets, terriers and longdogs. Times changed and moved on and spent the last ten years without. Just picked up a terrier pup , she is now 5 months old and showing promise. I have a few farmer friends and a bit of permission sorted. However, no ferrets yet and was perhaps thinking of picking up a couple of kits to get the dog used to them and maybe a spot of end of season work. The other option is to try and get old of an adult ferret, but obviously fraught with the chance of picking up one with problems already ingrained. Kind of seems a waste to have to wait a good few months ( which I know will be good for the terrier ) instead of starting to get her to know the game now, even just seeing what goes on . What would you do ? Quote Link to post
jok 3,036
Thinking about your question lol. If you consider it, kits born in April will be 8 months by November which isn't a bad time to introduce to small buries. That and the terrier will be 7 months. Marriage made in Heaven I'd say. 5 Quote Link to post
