matt1979 766
Pup is around 8 month now and after just plenty of socialising, getting around stock and mooching about over the summer. I have decided to let him tag along with the older dogs this weekend at my uncles farm. He is obviously a young dog but pretty grown up in attitude in my eyes at least. Also being a smaller lurcher around 21tts he has filled out pretty early by the looks of things. Started to show some real interest from around 6 month old and this had cranked up of late, with him catching the odd squirrel at the local woods. He also stayed at my old mans for a couple of weeks a while back and caught a couple of young rabbits whilst mooching with his pack of older dogs. Had him down in Devon recently on holiday and he enjoyed it and got plenty of exercise down there on the beaches and farm we stayed at. We have had quiet a bit of rain last week or so and the ground has softened up and with him and the terrier chomping at the bit, we will head over for the morning on Sunday all being well. Usually plenty of rabbits on the land so hopefully get him gently going. His is very much terrier like in his ways when out constantly nose down, not sure if this is due to being brought on with the terrier or just a trait. At home been a pleasure to Own has the odd mad moment but few and far between. Never really pushed the boundaries to date and long may that continue excluding his liking for food thievery. Don't normally take pics when out working the dogs put will try and remember to get a few on his first outing and put them up. Atb Edited September 22, 2015 by matt1979 5 Quote Link to post

matt1979 766
Had the young pup out this morning for a few hours at my uncles farm. Sadly looks like myxi has had an impact already as their was very little about, pup had one short run but was very keen working the hedgerows despite not a lot of scent about. Not always about the catches just enjoyed being out with the dogs and my old man. Ground still pretty hard despite some recent rain couldn't of asked for a better morning weather wise not one for taking pics but the sunrise was pretty special early doors atb Edited September 27, 2015 by matt1979 1 Quote Link to post
