The Best Pellet For The Hw 100 .177.

Recommended Posts

I was watching some of Si Pitterway`s reviews when i came across a couple of his videos on best pellet in the 100`s.

At the end of the second video the RWS Super Fields 8.4 grain, 4.51 proved to be something special at 4o mts and well beyond.(drawing pin head at 40 mtrs) :icon_eek:

Does any of us use this pellet in their 100`s please ? - your thoughts ?

p.s

AA fields came 2nd at range (40 mts +) but 1st around 30 mts.

JSB Exacts 3rd at range.

I've try'd several pellets in mine and found aa field to be very good and as you said 40yard , pin head holes all day long

Those are the 4.51 . 8.4 gr

I can send you a big hand full up if you want to try them !

Nothing to loose mate

Hi Dave, i`ve used AA fields 4.52, 8.4 grain for over 2-3 yrs now and can snipe out a 5p target (indoors) to 40 yds but when i saw Si Pitterway snipe out a drawing pin head pellet on pellet at 40 meters and beyond "outdoors" :icon_eek: well i had to ask the lads on here.

Very kind offer Dave and "thank you" but the club has them all mate so no short supply ;) , did you mean you "are" shooting RWS Super Fields by the way ?

Yes mate i have tried them and about the same as AA fields ,hopefully tonight i will try the AA Express , just been so windy down here in Dorset

At the moment the best pellet i have found for mine is jsb heavies 10.3 and imo far better at 45+ yards than any other pellet ,but will report back on the express later or tomorrow
