Is this a canary? Not to clued up on cage birds tbh.

It comes with a cage I'm getting tomorrow.

Are you sharing a perch?..

Put it in the bird section mate, lol.

Fireman or somebody will be along shortly, they'll know lol

 

He might have half a chance with a decent pic :whistling: ,but with the colouring and shape of the bird and it's beak i'd say a canary.But most finch types will do ok on a good quality canary mix until you find out 100% what it is,it also don't need that mirror and the space it takes up will be better for the bird to move around more in it's cage but if it's hand tame then CLOSE THE WINDOWS AND ALL DOORS :yes::thumbs: and let it fly around the room :laugh: .

Thanks guys, I'll get a better picture today when I pick him up lol.

I've owned plenty of zebra and bengalese finches so not a complete novice, though we've told her that this bird is hers to clean and feed.

With it being a canary (maybe lol) would you be able to put a red factor in with him?
