mark williams 7,568
I have an AA TX 200 HC and when it is put over my cheapo shooting sticks it becomes so rock steady and accurate its untrue. My cheapo sticks have served me very well in hide shooting and still do but i hear the Primos trigger sticks are the "dogs borrocks" for instant set up (mooching) and all other set ups. Any advice please as i am seriously thinking of buying the Primos Quote Link to post

3175darren 1,102
They are ok, but not as handy as home made ones with the elastic around if I am honest, you cant open them as quick in my opinion, as you have to swing the third leg out sometimes, very good gun support, but my problem is when I stalk, I like to use my sticks as a walking stick almost, I use them for loads of different stuff like I cross a small river and wade with them, [or feel my way across the river ] the primos trigger you are instructed not to use them to walk with, and you need to keep them clean so they operate smoothly, so I just take the home made ones again, unless I am waiting for a fox then I take the primos, Quote Link to post
