jamie g 17
if its a 223 mate try the federal ammo. my friend has a tikka t3 tactical and his rifle loves federal ammo and is a tackdriver with it. but saying that each rifle can be different even if they are the same make. what i would do is try a couple of different boxes of ammo and see which you find the best for your rifle. atb jamie Edited November 13, 2007 by jamie g Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
IF it is .223/5.56 the Tikka has a tight twist rate of 1in 8. The rifling is also quite fine so I would simply suggest a fairly heavy load, as you have already got the heavy barrel version you can put anything you like up it, also remember the barrels are made by SAKO, but just the same you will probably find a round that suits you and the gun after trying a few!!! Just because someone else swears by Rem/Federal/Sako/etc/etc it doesn't mean you will like it even if you have the same gun! Sadly I can offer no info on reloading as I don't do it!
