I've dealt with both of the above, had stuff sent to Ireland and replaced no hassle in some cases, can't say fairer than that really.

I'm a Lightforce fan  Though I think there are more Cluson users on this site, also Nightsearcher name been bandied about lately.

lightforces are shite... now i have had 2 and the connections are crap  you pay 80 quid for one you expect it to last you i have gone though 2 lamps in 2 seasons :icon_eek: the connections keep going and this one i have now you have to hold the button in while lamping or it will go off  and it aint like i chuck them about or anything thay just dont cut it  i would have a cluson my mates got one and its top notch cheeper and more reliable, fair enough the light force has the better beam but it just isint trust worthy. good luck with whatever you decide

by 3-5 hrs its allways strange as i guess people mean thats how long there out for, not how long they lamp for.

a 10ah battery on the 50w bulb lazerlite will give you 2.4hrs continuous lamping from a full charge, but remember the batt will be totally out of juice by then. the lightforce having a 100w bulb will be half that time unless you fit a 50w bulb.

to get around 5 hrs continuous use you will need around a 21-22ah'er if they come in that size, obviolsy double the size on a 100w bulb :icon_eek:

i dont rate the rigid battery packs either, a bit too uncomfy for me. belt mount in a canvas deben battery bag or rucksack. ive noticed a few harneses being used aswell but never tryed one.

i just oredered a nite stalker. im using a lazerlite but fancy seeing if the other has a tighter beam, especially as the distance starts to get longer. so far the lazerlite seems good though and there pritty cheap, just cant get the beam spot tight.

watch the cigar/bullet connectors there shit. chop em off unless your doing abit of lamping out the motor and get some HD garden type connectors on, much better.
