jonnie bravo 572
Well done that man, how are you getting used to that gas ram? Will you be selling the springers anytime soon 1 Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
Well done that man, how are you getting used to that gas ram? Will you be selling the springers anytime soon Pah. I won't jonnie. We're getting on ok. To be honest, getting used to it has took me ages and plenty of coins on pellets. It really is a f****r to tease into some tight ass groups, but when we gel, its damn near perfect for me. The only gripe I have with it and it's a major balls up by Theoben, is the theoben mounting system. The cheek piece is high, which I like, the wood is good, real smooth and that. The pistol grip is a joy. My god the trigger is one of the best, if not thee best I've used, seriously. There's like 3 stages to it, real crisp and sure. It is the most hold sensitive rifle I've also used. I've found if I place my leading finger up and into the slot where the barrel breaks into, it's fine, but as mentioned it's cost me about 50 quid to find that out. Anyways. Those mounts are pre set. Fine. But no one and I mean no one gets the right scope eye relief when you are governed by set positioning. Hence why you see every fenman with the scope set as far back as the turrets will allow. If you know when I mean. 1 Quote Link to post

If you know when I mean. That is a shame, sounds like they were close to producing a really great rifle. Would offset mounts help at all? At the same time seems like your having a good time with it, I'm finding the prosport a wee bit hold sensitive at the mo so I'm thinking a short stroke kit might be needed to calm it down. All part of the fun though! Quote Link to post
