stevo79 569
Hi everyone, though I'd share with you that I have just brought a quartet of Dark Dorkings. I've been interested in Keeping Dorkings for ages and finally sourced some good quality stock. I was looking for Silver Greys but the breeder I got them from said she had to give them up because she was plagued with Mareks, so she have them up. So she said she now has the Darks, she said that there was only 90 registered birds left so the Dorking club got together and now have the number up to 250. So I was well interested in getting involved to help the survival of one of our oldest British Breeds. She also gave me a tray of Red Sussex hatching eggs as I complemented how nice they were, they to are on they endangered list with only 4 registered breeders in the uk. Can't wait to get breeding some birds. Hope some of you find this interesting I feel very passionate about our British breeds Atb?
