The Wicklow Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet Club hold their 3rd Annual Show on July 5th 2015 in Rathnew, Co. Wicklow

 

ALL PROCEEDS RAISED WILL BE DONATED FULLY TO THE WICKLOW CANCER SUPPORT GROUP AFFILIATED TO THE IRISH CANCER SOCIETY

 

Champion Lurcher and Terrier will qualify for the Five Nations at Birr Castle, the Countrymans Weekly Midlands Fair and also the Conwy Valley Hunt Show in North Wales

Champion Whippet will also recieve these qualifiers along with prize money.

 

Flapper Racing @ 12 pm

Digging Competition @ 1pm

Judging for Lurchers, Terriers and Whippets @ 1:30pm

Pet Show @ 2:30pm

Winners of the Digging Competition will qualify for the All Ireland Digging Competition 2016 and recieve a Memorial Spade

 

Champion Puppies of the Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet will recieve engraved glass plaques

 

Champion Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet will also recieve large engraved glass plaques along with the qualifers stated above

 

As many know, with the sad passing of Arthur Dickenson at last years show, there will now be a Large Memorial Cup at this years show in his honour. The Cup will be presented to whoever wins Champion Lurcher. Arthur was a great dog man, and was always known for his Lurchers, the Cup has kindly been placed in his honour by the Dickenson Family.

Would any clubs consider putting on a greyhound show class & race? Shane's castle have a greyhound race and it might get some interest.
