Country Joe 1,411
Just watched Suzanne Evans being interviewed on Andrew Marr, as some of you on here know I am a SNP member, but i have to say, she comes across well, I would say that Nicola Sturgeon had a big hand in the SNP surge, and don't think that Alex Salmond has the same appeal, as like Nigel Farage they are both marmite characters, She said Ukip needs to get over to female voters, Would you Ukip voters prefer her to lead the party, or would you prefer Nigel Farage? mackay 3,054
From what I can see she's talking about middle ground and appealing to more centre left voters by watering down ukip policy. They got nearly four million votes on the back of those policies with who knows how many who would have voted ukip but opted for the tories to keep labour and the snp from teaming up. Stay the course, we need a strong right of centre party in this country.
Brewman 1,190
I nominate Desertbred for head of UKIP should there ever be a vacancy. Probably not the ideal candidate from their point of view bit would make politics a bit more interesting for a few days and Mushroom could be his no. 2.
