That's handy, Snapper! He'll be reading those tables on this screen in about twenty minutes time! I've just been talking to Dean O' and he's heading this way as I type. Should just have time to get him zeroed before it gets dark ..... I do hope he's carrying his own lamp!

you won't get a true zero unless its calm lads, so find a good sheltered spot, the .17 is a little light for zeroing in this wind

I agree with you snap shot about the .17 and zeroing in wind, iv just got a new scope and hav had a nightmare with zeroing it in these gusty winds weve been having. Bring on a calm day. Cheers

I Do so wish you rotten sods would stop banging on about the winds ye all seem to be experiencing! I'll tell ye what; I swear that if I stepped out that door right now and dropped a sparrows breast feather, it'd drift down to my bloody feet!

 

It's been black as pitch out there for a week now ~ and so still, the sound of a Dogs fart echoes around that basin!
