secretagentmole 1,701
Once upon a time a Mrs Mole used to go shooting, but then her mother got cancer and she sold all her guns as she was caring for her elderly parents and did not shoot her rifles. Her mother died, then her father basically gave up the will to live without his beloved wife. She spent two more years caring for him. Following his demise she then had to help her autistic sister adjust to life alone. But we found a nice gun recently, something German, very German, short barreled, 4 less than a flake! Yes an HW95 carbine has entered her life. Secondhand and buzzing like a bee in a tinfoil factory. This needed sorting. A PG2 kit has been purchased, the gun has been stripped, swarf cleaned out (the gun is like new hence the swarf). Performance figures and noise levels were measured before it went in for the tune, was making 10.9 ft lb and 75db with a silencer on. According to the gunsmith a similar transformation to the 77 has taken place. The results will be published. So now some more range time, get the eye back in, then I think some pigeon popping! 4 Quote Link to post
