A day at the Mountain Hares

everyone, she now has 10 pups I was up and down like a yoyo last night, kept going out to the kennel to see if she had any more but thats her done now. It was a right howling gale last night, the noise of the slates lifting up on the roof woke me up so I got up, paced about for a bit and then spotted a rabbit in the field across from the house so I shot that and gave her it this morning for her breakfast.

 

Having another day on the whiteys soon so watch this space for more pics

I actually shot 2 one in the head that fell over, but the other one was in the neck and it managed to crawl off into the darkness, by the time I got my jacket and boots on and got Casper and went into the field to look for it, it had buggered off Its times like this I wish I hadnt sold my lamping kit when I was skint, would have been handy to have it last night as the old dog mooched around for ages but didnt find it
