mazperks 18
I've seen an ad for the "Pest stop" talpa with setting handles, apparently made by Procter. can anyone comment on how good these are. They seem reasonably priced. As long as the springs are powerful enough is the main concern, they are only for occasional use on my friends farm, so wont be in the ground all day every day. As I say as long as they can cut easily through the backfill. I also saw some talpas with a "Fixman" label, usually the crappiest stuff is un branded. Quote Link to post
Matt 160
Buy cheap, buy twice As far as I'm aware, everything with the Proctor name on it has been manufactured in China by Mr Wong and his underfed children, using substandard materials I like to buy British whenever possible, which basically means Flatpack these days but having said that I've just bought some genuine Dutch Talpex traps which I'm mightily impressed by Quote Link to post

bryn27 89
I've caught with them no problem, but up against the Talpex id rather pay the extra. Quote Link to post

bryn27 89
Difference between the two as far as I can see is the power of the Talpex. cuts through soil like a knervland plough. Quote Link to post
