mad4it 695
when ferreting Monday at new bit of permission, a first it looked really promising with loads of signs of rabbits so netted up the earth and didnt bolt any thing, ferreted six earths for only 2 rabbits but least i didnt blank as the saying go a bad days ferreting is better than a good day at work, i was just wondering if any one else have peices of land that look promising but turn out to be rubbish when they come to ferret or shoot it Quote Link to post
OldhamLad 66
Me in Hull turned out to be Horrendous! Acres and Acres of land lots of Warrens - Turns out Farmer takes coin for Lampers ! 2.5 hours drive for feck all . Got up there bumped into a local who said hed been on there that very night and only got a few I asked how many he said 30 - If that's the mentality of Lampers how the hell the wild rabbit population is meant to cope I don't know. Perhaps your not the only one with the permission there or theres some poachers lurking in the dark Quote Link to post

bunny tickler 876
i would think most peoples perms are poached one way or another ,i know mine is, but its a 20 mile drive each way , so you cant be there 24/7 . 1 Quote Link to post
