CraignTod 278
Ok so ive got a pup aged 10 weeks, currently feed her biscuits with a meat (cooked) meal daily Today i was gutting a rabbit and the pup come behind me and practically swallowed the entire intestines of this rabbit in one, choked it back up which then i was able to retreive it. So question is can i feed my pup raw insides of the rabbit? Also can i feed it raw meat from the rabbit because she seemed to prefer this to having it cooked? Bearing in mind she will be fed raw aswell as cooked? Thanks

gnipper 6,915
Can't see any reason why you can't give it them raw, people feed whole rabbits. Freeze it for a couple of weeks first to kill any tapeworm eggs.
The one 8,595
Last time I was ferreting I gutted the rabbits into a black bag while my son feed the ferrets and then we put the gear away and went in for tea , next morning I opened the garage door to help dry the nets and when I went to shut it I saw the back and re breed about the rabbit guts the lab had ate the lot , only thing she seemed to suffer was extreme flactulance that night I had to get her out the house into the kennel , but for normal I'm no keen on them touching rabbit guts due to a worm burden threat
