LurcherLad94 2,582
Alright lads after havering to sell my mark 3 at Christmas time I've just picked up a mk2 15 ft for next season with a collar for £60 is this a fair price as I haven't found many mk2 for sale also is there much difference between the mk1 and mk2 as I see the mk1 8ft going for quite abit more? Thanks for looking Quote Link to post
The one 8,594
It has a short battery life mate but the the speed Debens bought out the mk3 so soon after the mk2 tells you how happy they where with it Quote Link to post
LurcherLad94 2,582
Thanks for the reply mate, is this the mk 2 or mk1 ? The eBay add says its a mk2 but after reading a few things on the internet people are describing the mk2 as the same as the mk3 but just black is this true ? Quote Link to post

LurcherLad94 2,582
Thanks ferret not sure why it was listed as a mk 2 then not to bothered anyway how much do these usually sell for do you no Quote Link to post
The one 8,594
Aye I saw that does it have mk2 on the depth wheel ? It's still a mk 1 they where out that long there are eleven different modified versions of it , the mk2 is carrot shaped like the mk 3 Quote Link to post
LurcherLad94 2,582
Ahh I see not sure about it saying mk2 on the wheel as it won't be here till Tuesday but I imagine that's why he listed it as mk2 so are the mk1s as hard to get used to as the mk3s lads?do you just turn the wheel down to pinpoint the ferret? The one 8,594
Pretty sure there's. Sticky label on the depth wheel that says mk2 that's why you see the odd one listed as a mk2 . Start off with the depth wheel at the highest reading and keep turning it down as you locate your ferret and here it ticking once ive got it at the lowest I do a circle round there to make sure the lowest readings in the centre then a x movement and take the divot off then check the rabbit and ferret are still in the same spot then dig like mad till I'm within a few inches of them in case they move then carefully break threw to the ferret Quote Link to post
