Artificial Lighting?

Recommended Posts

iv been toying with the idea of turning a brick shed into a ferret court, the thing is there is no window fitted to the shed so obviously its pitch black,i have no means of attaching an outside run for them to use or fitting a window so my question is would it be fair to only use artificial lighting within the court, set on a timer to replicate normal daylight hours,if yes what sort of lighting would be adequate,if its not something anyone would recommend il leave it,any help on this appreciated cheers

would it be possible to put a small window in the building?

even with a light in there, there really is no replacement to proper daylight and a bit of fresh air

no cant do that mate, there is a small window but because my kennels are built on the outside wall it blocks all natural light to the window,i appreciate there is no comparison to natural light hence the question cheers
