But in the field different bitch all together , she liked Charlie's also she take em by the scruff and hold em Til I got there. She never could finish them though but that didn't bither me. She was a collie grey, seen a few that are quite timid tbf over the years Quote Link to post
bird 10,014
yeh dogs are strange aint they , you hear of a lot nervy.senstive type temp lurchers, that are quite around people/ dogs, but very full on when it comes to foxes, don't mind the sharp end.But ive always thought that a dog, with a temp like above , wont take a lot to up set = i.e. pain /fear long term.? it stand to reason when you think about, because a dog with confident temp, will handle these things better and prob not jack as quick. any dog what ever the temp will kill the odd fox, but if asked to do few a night 3 -4 nights a week . the dog with the out going temp, it wont enter its mind as quick , as the nervy/sensitive type dog. there a old saying ( you cant put in what nature left out) and I think its 100% right . a nervy/sensitive dog will never be as good as confident dog long term when it as to dig deep with in it self Quote Link to post
