It will be tight lines within the next few weeks old bean,casting a line for some biggies I just couldnt believe the size of some of these lizards,in the philippines they would have been snared and eaten long since,here no one bats an eye,the big fella I saw swimming earlier was around three and a half foot long,maybe a little longer but FAT,I pointed him out to a thai guy and asked the thai for monitor,he said "That call komodo" I just went out and saw a few bats,lots of wildlife around the river if you just take the time and look. some guy just came up to my mate with a small photograph album containing pics of what appeared to be several naked young ladies doing flexible acrobatic exercises with gentlemen He said "You like...you like....happy ending very cheap" My mate said "I had a happy ending,i got divorced and it certainly wasnt cheap" Quote Link to post Share on other sites
bell 3,612 Posted January 24, 2015 Report Share Posted January 24, 2015 Mmmm, met a big one under a bridge in Sri Lanka once, bit unnerving up close. In my limited experience there is no such thing as a cheap happy ending lol......today i have been in gods own country, a few pheasant, couple of woodcock and unbelievable amount of teal........spitfire ducks........log burner and FA cup on tv........bit of a contrast mate ! mackem 30,815 Posted January 31, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 31, 2015 I saw a monitor eating a fish yesterday mate,its odd but i have only seen one rat on a klong,and that was looking over its shoulder nervously,the monitor are reptilian mink,they dont miss an opportunity and are everywhere,they swim like otter,climb like chamois,and are modern day scaled down dinosaur.
