midnight 657
Hi I'm a big fan of small bore shotguns , I don't currently have one and I'm missing it badly . Iv shot a lot of vermin and game with the little 410 so I'm more that aware of its limitations and ability. In a utopia I would get a £3k to £4k sporter from one of the giant companies , but it's not a utopia and I don't need that quality for the shooting I do . So for a few months Iv been looking on the Internet at the massive amount of options in the small bore o/u . Price for new is much the same , but there are a lot with out ejectors (I really don't want that ) and a lot with multi choke (don't need that) the gun that offers ejectors as standard and double fixed full choke is the Baikal 410 gauge IZH27EM - 1C Over and Under new Shotgun (R/H), £399 it's cheaper than the Turkish guns and suits my needs more than they do ... All I know about baikal is that there almost indistructable , heavy , and ugly .. All that is fine by me ha . So is there any members that have owned/ shot/ used one ? All the best , Matt Quote Link to post
PLEDGEY 496
I don't have the one you are talking about but I do have a Baikal Hushpower, some call it a Stealth. It's only a single barrel and has no ejector but it shoots fine. I point it at stuff I want dead and it does the job. I have never cleaned it and, to be honest, treat it like shit but have never had a problem. It's got a plastic stock, or composite if you want to be posh, and cost me £325 new just over 2 years ago. Considering the distance a 410 is shot at I can't see the point in spending big money on one. I use this more than any other gun, I love it. Quote Link to post
midnight 657
Thanks for the response . I have a single 12g baikle that I don't use at all . I borrowed a stealth of a mate in .410 for a few months to . The under over is £74 more than a steath single select trigger , ejector it's not a lot of money at all for the spec . I don't find any real reduction in range , pattern is a little open at range but knock down crowd what ever at pretty good rangy shots . I like to shoot clays with .410 so an expensive spotter would be over kill but would keep the clay shooters quiet Maybe in the new year il get a chance to buy one and feed back how I get on . nasher1 258
I have a sxs baikal .410 ejector not the gun your asking about but along the same lines. I didn't realise baikal did a under and over configuration. The one i have is my favourite shotgun I'm very accurate with it so it must fit right I put a sling on mine and it's just the job for mooching around the farm Quote Link to post

That is probably the best desciption for a .410 :-) Quote Link to post
