Feed Before Lamp

Decided I'm gonna take the dogs out for a lamp tonight, only thing I'm a little worried about is I fed them both about a mug full of gain 28 at 2.30 this afternoon. Normally I don't feed the day in going lamping if I start them about 9.30 will 7 hours between having the food be okay? Cheers

they will be fine better to have some food than go empty until your home ..

and on a little note ,I always give them a little feed on the day I go lamping ...about mid day ish they will have digested it by the time you go in the evening.

I always used to not feed too mate some old bloke told me not to ,but I have fed for the years now on the day of lamping with no problems ...

how I look at it if you feed at say 7.30 everynight then go lamping the next night until 3/4 in the morning the dog has not eaten for well over 24 hours .

Yeah true, well they only had around a mug full each. Might start giving them a little in the mornings now if I'm planning on a night out.

food = energy feed on a morning or afternoon if you think your going lamping

I always feed about 2-3pm if I'm going lamping.

 

Always a handful of pasta, tin of mackeral and a couple of eggs with a cube of lard.

i still feed twice a day, out in the morning then fed, out at night then fed,, no 24hr gap in this regime
