Adding New Ferrets

Was given a Jill earlier, put her in with my Jill and every now an then my Jill would attack her. Is this just a dominat thing and will pass or is my Jill just anti social and better off living alone?

Leave them to get on with it, but keep looking over them from time to time to make sure they're not murdering each other

I've separated them for 2nite coz I'm working, il try them again in the morning. Is this the norm with ferrets then?

I put a new Hob in with my Jill last night, they fought for about ten minutes straight. My jill being the instigator. After they finished fighting they cuddled up and went to sleep. Thick as thieves today and getting on well together. So happy with the result. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It's the norm for most animals, your two should be ok, just let them get on. I've only ever had one jill not get on with others, and she is my latest 12 month old albino, her and a large polecat jill just don't hit it off, so she's in a seperate cage with my only other albino who's 4.

It will pass had same myself,she will grab the other ferret by the neck and roll like a crocodile find out who the boss is.
