Guest itallion stallion
i must admit although i had seen foxy in the flesh i have only seen her run on tape . i have got the forley tape mentioned above and both foxy and dancer were top class bitches without a doubt !! having watched the tape imo i felt foxy was getting the longer slips and as c.n and a.s said at the end... it is the luck on the day that decides the forley winner . as i said they were both top class but i think that foxy was the better and she came from a top class litter aswell. ....foxy...rip Quote Link to post

Guest Robbie Morran
: I have spoke to CN about the time Dancer beat Foxy , he never said she was in season , even if she was it wouldnt of made her perform any less , the two dogs met twice drew once, Dancer won 2nd time, its a hard one to bet on SV , Dancers record Callander cup 16 dogs 1st 4 hares Temple bruer 1st 4 hares British double handed 1st 4 or 5 not 100% sure British single handed 1st 4 out 5 this was run the week after the double handed... Not a bad record Dancers biggest acheivment was Blondie , IMO the greatest single handed fen dog of all time Blondie Forley cup 2000 6 out 6 the best Forley cup of them all she beat the strongest feild in the history of the cup !!!!!!!!!! Forley cup 2nd 5 out 6 , she had had pups in the October Forley cup 2nd 2 out 3 she was 7 years old and past her best , she ran her heart out , game as it gets , 13 out of 15 hares in the top competotion against the top dogs .. Dont think there was much in it between Foxy , Dancer , they were the best dogs of there day , if u watch the tape of the Forley when they ran they were head and shoulders above the rest of the feild.... Dont no Foxys record , maybe someone does ??????? Quote Link to post
J Darcy 5,871
Either way you look at it, they were quality through and through and a credit to those that worked, bred and owned them...... Quote Link to post
polecat 1
its sad when they go but thanks for the momories r i p Quote Link to post
Guest Uncle Fester
i think foxy didnt produce no were as good as people expected, its plain to see that dancer produced better, the dancer line of dogs had a better mouth then the foxy dogs. and thats imo whats its all about picking the hare up...but foxy produced dogs with balls... if the going got tuff they got tuffer.....imo they were more geniune dogs... if the foxy dogs like to kill as much as they liked to run they would be unbeatable.... at the end of the day two GREAT BITCHS!
