villaman 9,982
I have the N550 and when the photon came out I thought about selling my n550 until I read all the comments on them and looked through one ,all I can say thank good I didn't sell it . With the new photon apparently to get the best out of it you got to put a plastic cap over the front with a 12mm hole ,what is that all about Edited October 9, 2014 by villaman Quote Link to post

Like I said a cap over the front with a 12mm hole , its very light sensitive need a doubler but they are coming out with another new one with more magnification but more money !! Quote Link to post
kanny 21,756
Extra ir is generally used on both units and as mentioned by vm the scope cap trick with a 25mm hole makes a vast improvement to the image quality of the old photon ..there really is nothing much in it when it comes to image quality neither are fantastic but to name some plus point's of the photon there lighter there cheeper they sit on the gun like a normal day scope in standard mounts and easy to use the only plus point I can think about the pulsar is errrrrm its robust!
