With the big crash in Greece, it's become a bit of a millstone IMO. He diesnt use it as much as he did, and desnt actively rent it, it's there for the family as and when really. The big problem is it's not that easy to get too, and flights can be a bit costly, infact he'll often buy a budget holiday and bin the hotel cause the flights are more expensive than a package. If if was me I think Portugal or France I think, probably Portugal would be favourite, down around sargress anywhere west of Alvor really, and up the west coast a bit, cracking big surf beaches, decent grub, friendly people.
