gnasher16 29,754 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Share Posted September 27, 2014 The trouble with iconic figures is they cloud our judgement we almost feel guilty for wanting them out even though its the right thing to do.....Robson/Newcastle.....Dalglish/Liverpool....Clough/Forest etc......it shouldnt tarnish their reputation or our admiration for them......if Chelsea drop to mid table will they want Mourinho out,of course they will thats perfectly normal but it wont stop him being an iconic figure at the club....as it hasnt with the others mentioned. 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Dalglish wasnt a scouser but he is idolised in the same way Mourinho is all clubs have their iconic figures ours is Bobby Moore of course but in more recent times Dicanio was adored,not in the same way as Bobby but all clubs have their home grown hero,s as well as " foreigners " 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
