Hi Kay,I am guessing that you want it to go with your air rifle,so,do you want to carry the lamp seperately or do you want to attatch it to the scope of the rifle? If you want it to fit to the scope then I would suggest the Deben tracer which is ultra light and is perfect for use with an air rifle, and you can get away with a much smaller battery. You don't ned the extra candle power and range that the lightforce etc. will give you, because you will be lamping relatively closely.I use a Deben Tracer Max for use with my air rifle and it is excellent, but,I do use the Lightforce 170 on my rimfire, which is also excellent............hope this has been of some help to you.............martin.
