walshie 2,804
There's a fox at a farm I shoot at that's been tormenting me lately by showing itself a few minutes before dusk for a couple of minutes but doesn't respond to squeaking. It stays well out of rimfire range. Tonight I got my 223 out and my lad drove me there. We arrived at about 10 to 8 and as soon as we got there, we saw a smaller fox running into the bushes. We sat in the jeep and within minutes the dog fox showed himself right on cue at about 180 yards. He didn't know I had the 223 tonight. Had to get my boy to retrieve it as a 360 yard round trip over fences at my age....well. Great condition fox. Quote Link to post
