Raymond 618
Talking to the oldest son. He was saying a mate of his ferret came out of a burrow with an orange patch on the back of its neck. When they looked closer they where little orange mites. The next day the ferret walked as if its 2 front legs where locked, twisted and badly bowed. It got worse over a couple of days and the ferret ended up dead. Does anyone know what the little mites are. Quote Link to post

Raymond 618
How did the mites cause the physical symptoms and then the ferret dieing. Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-24379616 They have been connected to seasonal canine illness. Around 300 recorded cases with 16 deaths. If they can knock a dog, maybe they can knock ferrets too? Quote Link to post
