got a ferret given today but has lost most of its hair on its tail any one know why and what can I do . apart from that the ferret is in good condition and very fit

Just moulting pal mine are like it at the minute, go e it a few week and will be good as new

Rats tail. Its hormonal I believe. The fur will grow back as its winter coat comes in. Ive had my first case of it this year.

Aye its hormonal getting a lot colder at nights now and darker earlier so they should be thinking about coming out of season and getting there winter coats on LOL
