stevoman 4
i mean dry food kay!!! james wellbeloved to be exact! i gave them the nuts first and they were eating away and i arived at the door of my thier hutch with the meat a few minutes later and the young kit and spooted me and took it straight from my hand while the older one had its back turned and she was gone into her corner like a flash! you just can't get anything more satisfying than listening to the chuckles of the little one when she hears you coming with food. i must take a few photo's and post them up for everyone to see Quote Link to post

stevoman 4
lucky for you. alot of lads of people round my way enjoy shooting them, but hardly anybody ferrets. people think im insane when they see me coming along with my ferret box and gear. people are terrified of them. one landowner asked me when i was heading onto his land to try and net a few rabbits, did i sow their mouths shut before i leave or do i do it when i get there!!! i tried to explain to him that their not vicous once you handle them and care for them, but he just couldnt understand. needless to say when i took one out from my box and let her crawl from the bottom of my jacket up onto my shoulder and let her sit there, his eyes nearly popped out of his head with shock, he thought i was gone mad.
