Ferret Finder Help Needed, Please.

Recommended Posts

I have a 8ft mk1 deben ferret finder collar that dos'nt work. Does anyone know of a way of repairing it please?? Both the terminal and the inside of the cap are spotless, but thats as much as i can do for now. Im sure there must be some way to repair them as the old and not working collars sell frequently on ebay for more than the price of a plain leather collar!?!, i know its a tough one but id really appreciate any feedback on this one please, many thanks.

As said the boxes can be fixed but once the collar goes bin it after you have cleaned the contact terminal and checked the cap is screwed down tight as possible if it still doesn't work . theres wires threw the resin to act as a Ariel and if they break its knackered ,I think the guys buying on ebay are hoping to be lucky and its something simple

fair do's, thanks for the replies fella's. i thought as much but was worth a try. Think il strip off the plastic to see [BANNED TEXT] i can learn while on way to the bin. got to keep the leather collar though, it ort to do for lining.

We tried that at work taking a wafer off the resin less than a mm at a time thats how the electric dept told me it was a waste of time . the only way it would work is if they could melt it off but the wires where still too fragile
