Salty3250 6
Hey all I'm pretty new to everything in the Airgun scene and currently use an Air Arms S410 carbine. I have a slight issue with head placement and the comfiest place for my head/reach etc just leaves me slightly low of the scope view. So...... Anyone have any recommendations for a stock comb or other solution as at present no substantial savings for a custom stock. I'm using an S410 with hawke AirMax EV 3-9x50 scope which fits it brilliantly. Cheers in advance. Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
Have you tried lower scope mounts first? Quote Link to post
Salty3250 6
Cheers for the reply. The ones I have bring the scope to as low as it could go so ye I'm not sure I could remedy it that way? There's only about 4-5 mm between sight and breach end? Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
Get yourself an AIM cheek piece kit man. Got one my SE and it just lifts it enough, it does of course, need something underneath it but it works for me. With it being on my field rifle too, I carry bags, pellets, knife etc in the pouch too. 24 quid I think it was. Aimfieldsports.com Quote Link to post

Cedric 132
Simple, cheap solution - even as a temporary measure. I fitted a piece of pipe insulation and carved it to shape, the pics show it for left handed use. Once I had it right I taped it in place and rolled a neoprene sleeve over it. 1 Quote Link to post
Cedric 132
PS. The wooden block is carved into a dish for holding pellets, the foam backing stops it slipping. Quote Link to post
