Lol Thats me, and I caught them fish and I had the 16lb.8 . I caught on the first day, my mate was 2 down going to bed and looking like he was gonna blank, but we swapped an changed bait till we found a winning combo. It was probably even stevens packing up, stopped weighing them and photographing them in the end. This lake used to produce a lot more 20`s but whenever the owner gets the stock thinned out, the people who do the netting and fish buying always help themselves to whatever size and the owner doesnt seem to mind Lad next to me had a 27lb grassy off the top though. 1 Quote Link to post

The owner has had a net dip ever since Ive fished it 15+ years. Funny you should mention it though, he`s not long reopened as he had a dose of whitespot and it was transferring from the roach to the carp. So he shut for 8 weeks to help with water quality apparently.. Before we got there we heard he`d closed cos of an algae bloom Quote Link to post
