bryanm45 787
I was out with my three yesterday evening, for a mooch and the conditions were cool and damp with a thunder storm about 3 miles away little to no wind, the dogs were running around like nutters there must have been scent everywhere, whereas normally they only track recent scent, has anyone noticed this before, what caused they scent to linger like that. day and night walker 237
I think the conditions that you described are supposed to be the best for dogs when it comes to scent ect. Had my one out yesterday evening and she managed to peg one in the cover. atb daywalker. 1 Quote Link to post
buster gonads 862
Damp conditions are always better for holding scent and if we,v had rain through the day and it stops before my last walk with the dog's [dusk] there's scent every were as every thing is on the move as soon as the rain stops, low pressure helps too but dont ask me why. 1 Quote Link to post
