As an off-shoot of the skills forum here are a few pics of the pointy things I have made.

Scandis, 5160 spring steel recycled form Land Rover leaf springs.

Stick tang bushcrafter blades, same steel (please forgive the "SOLD" tags).

More of the same, hammer textured finish though.

An EN9 friction folder, bamboo scales with brass liners and a horn spacer.

Utility knife from a farrier's rasp, hilt wrapped "japanese" style.

A few wierd and wonderful things.

you do some nice work my friend  , i particually like the utility knife it would only need a gut hook and serated/scaloped/bonesaw type edge and it would do me perfectly, so :hmm: how much (roughly) for such a knife with prehaps a rosewood handle

Oh, one more thing.

I am quite specifically NOT touting for business. I don't have a workshop and am not currently doing this for a living. I just wanted to share some pictures. I'm happy to advise, help or otherwise show off, but the chances of me making more than two or three knives a year are pretty slim right now.

How about some other people post pics of blades/knives they've made? I'd love to see them.

Some very nice work.

This is the one i have just finished but need to polish up on the brass. Micarta handle not bone. 4inch drop point hunter blade, and a real good feel in the hand.
