Qualifers for Rockview Harriers Dog Show

 

Dont forget Kilkenny Dog Show this Weekend.

Sunday 4th May at 1pm

 

Rockview Harriers Annual Hound, Lurcher and Working Terrier Show 2014...
At Sevenhouses Coursing Ground, Danesfort, Co. Kilkenny
(3 miles from Junc 9 M9 Motorway)

All usual classes, pet show and flapper racing

 

Champion Terrier & Lurcher will Qualify for 5 Nations at Birr

 

Champion Whippet will qualify for 5 Nations at Shanes Castle in June

 

Racing qualifer for Master Mc Grath at Shanes Castle.

 

Champion Terrier, Lurcher, & Whippet will qualify for the Earth Dog

 

Runnng Dog, final to be held in Aug 2014.

 

Bull Cross Lurcher winner will qualify for the Derbyshire Bull Cross Final to be held in Aug 14.

 

Flapper racing before and after showing. Master Mc Grath Qualifer after showing.

 

A raffle will take place at the end of the day, tickets on sale throughout the day.

Prizes include ,a Shovel, Digging Book, A bottle of Whiskey and many more prizes.

 

Full range of snacks on sale in shop beside the Grand Stand.

      Hi folks just an update on our show,
      This show is without doubt Irelands largest fundraising dog show, in only four years of bringing this show back to life, we are very proud to have raised £41000 for cancer related charities…
      This year we returned to Daisy lodge cancer fund for children, a local charity that does amazing work for kids and families affected by cancer….  We smashed last years amount of £14000 to reach an outstanding £17000….  
       
      We would like to thank every person who has supported our show, sponsorsed and donated gifts for an amazing raffle..   We had over £1500s worth of prizes for the raffle….  A very special thanks to Margaret Mcstay for advertising, The legend dog racing team of the McGrath Family, Dwtc for ongoing support, And  Burren working dog show team.. Thanks everyone and roll on 2026….   A show not to miss

      ****Great News for Our Dog Show Fraternity  in 2026 Re : 5 Nations/Mick The Miller/MasterMc Grath **** Carlow
      It has been decided by the Mc Grath Lurcher Racing Club and by kind permission of  Mr AJ Titterington of The Great Game Fairs of Ireland, that their Annual Dog Show event in Carlow 2026 will take place over a two day event. 
      *Saturday the 27th June 26 will be Showing only for the 5 Nations and All Ireland Showing.
      *Sunday 28th June will be for Racing Only for the Master Mc Grath / Mick the Miller and All Ireland Racing. 
      Please note, All dogs that have qualified for the 5 Nations/Mick The Miller and Master McGrath in 2025 will again automatically be qualified for 2026 event. If a dog that has won a show is already qualified in 1st or 2nd then the qualifier will go to 3rd place.
      This is just a heads up for now, full details and schedule will be issued at later date.
