Strange Place To Lay..

I went in to top the egg food up earlier today and one of the Goldie mule hen's has decided to start laying in one of the D cup feeder's.. :D

do her a make shift nest put the eggs in where the feeder sits ,she only just started lay she may take to it.atb bunnnys.

I would do that bunnys if i had anything fertile to stick under her but i don't at the moment..i have put three nest pan's in so when they do build proper nest's and start to lay i maybe be able to stick the odd goldie or canary egg under them just so they can do what nature intended them to do and raise a few young.. :thumbs: .. i would hate to see them sit clutch after clutch and not rear anything..

Well you did break her nest yesterday(by accident i'll grant you that BUT),what's the poor lass ment to do eh? :laugh::laugh:

It was rebuilt this morning but even better.. :D ...as i have put a pile of nesting material in.. :thumbs: ... that one that i bust by accident was made from chickweed.. :laugh:
