Grey Partridge Eggs

Recommended Posts

a mate of mine phoned me earlier trying to get hold of some grey partridge eggs. his daughters school hatch half a dozen chicken eggs in an incubator each year so the kids can watch them hatch and grow up, so this year my mate suggested partridge eggs instead, and teach the older kids a bit about british wildlife as well as the incubation thing. the school are in favour, as long as he can provide the eggs, and thereby hangs the problem. any suggestions where he should start to look? he is not far from me in bedfordshire and is happy to travel a reasonable distance, but not too far (about an hour from luton, say?)

thanks
