This Saturday 26th April
Dessie Mackin will be holding his first show of the year this Saturday 26th April. There will be a qualifer for the Whippet 5 Nations Champion at Shanes Castle in June, and a qualifer for Terriers and Lurchers 5 Nations at Birr Castle in August.

And in racing a qualifer for the Master Mc Grath at Shanes Castle in June.

 

This Sunday 27th April
The Sporting Whippet Club NI , Dunsilly, Co Antrim. The first Whippet Show of the year. Hope to see you all there. Always a great family day out.

This show will be qualifier for the Master Mc Grath. Over and Under 23" with a money prize for both. This show is a qualifier for the 5 Nation for Terriers, Lurchers and Whippet with a money prize for best in show. Also on the day there will be a heavily contested digging competition with a prize Breandan is putting up himself. If there is enough interest, there may be truck pulling and heavy dog showing. U.L.D.A Its on the Hollymount Road, Lawrencetown. I am the worst in the world giving directions. But I will do my best to guide you.

If you are coming out of Gilford, towards Portadown, there is a fork in the road, Take left there. Drive on about 2 mile to you see a sign for Tullylish. On the righthand side of the Road, you will see a sign post for St Johns Church. On your left opposite that sign there is a road on the your left. Drive in that Road, for a very short distance,you come to a bridge, and a road to the left on the Bridge. Take that Road, its up hill and very bendy, for about 2mile, and coming down a steep hill, a Road to your left, and in front of you, you will see the show field. There will be Plenty of cars and vans in the field , so you could not miss it.

 

I do not have a BT No for it. Hope this of help to you.
