C556 351
Hello there, I used to have a wee whippet lurcher that I used on hares and rabbits before she got too old. She wasn't the best worker but it was still great watching the chase. I've now got a big heavy Stafford that'd be useless for hunting. I wouldn't have minded chasing some rabbits for fun with him if he wasn't so animal aggressive and unresponsive when in drive. Because of that he stays on the lead when I'm out. At the moment my outdoor pursuits are limited to keeping the staff in shape and going mine digging. I'm not really in a position to get another dog just now. Hopefully in a year or two I'll be able to look for a good dog, be it a terrier or lurcher if I don't have a taste for an athletic staff. I wouldn't mind meeting up with some local dog men to get my hunting fix and give them a hand if they need it.
