You don't need to breed your jills to take them out of season. Best options are either take them to a vet and get them jabbed or take them to be serviced by a vasectomised hob.

Ive never worked jills in season probably not a good idea.

Your jill's will stay in season all summer with the longer daylight unless you do something about it , you dont have to breed them you can use a snipped hob or the jill jab to bring them out of season .

Nothing wrong with going ferreting tommorrow im looking for getting out sat ,sun and Monday this week to see if i can wrap up my ferreting till next season

It's a bit late for the jab unless it's first thing in morning you take them to vets '

I wouldn't work them mate defo not good look ATB mark

??? Ive had jills jabbed way into their season and still got the desired results? He could have got the jill jabbed in the morning and it still wouldnt make a difference for a couple of weeks any way...

You can try ferreting, thing is, when hob`s and jill`s come into season, they come off the boil regarding finding and killing rabbits. They would rather be above ground searching for a mate.

The wife took my Jill to the vets for the jab as soon as she started to swell and she was told there is 50/50 chance of it working as it was going to take up to ten days for it to work and in that time she could be cought, in my last reply bob I stated first thing in tomorrow ( today ) would be best, and tbo mate the Jill would have more chance of taking in more dirt down I the rabbit warrens even more so with ticks starting to show and it's not really worth the risk ATB mark
