Nathan1991 25 Posted March 25, 2014 Report Share Posted March 25, 2014 Afternoon fellow shooters, As many of you already know I have spent the last 2 month painstakingly restoring and tuning my hw35, I have been extremely pleased with how the gun has been shooting, the rekord trigger has been deburred and polished and is as smooth as butter, the recoil is practically gone and the power was great. Feeling good I decided to take her out and christen her on some fluffy tails, so after a couple of hours of nothing I eventually came across a rabbit, he was sitting at around 55 yards so I performed some sas stalking and got within 25 yards (at that distance my hw97kt would have destroyed it ) I got him in focus and squeezed through the first stage, gave a little squeek as to raise his head and another slight slight squeeze and the sear was released with a sound that can only be described as a pcp mixed with a wet fart I was far from pleased and I could swear I even heard the rabbit snigger. So as expected "a broken spring" was the culprit. So now I am ordering a new one, I am thinking about a Titan xs and need some advice from those that have used them. Atb Nathan. Quote Link to post
