Well lads as you no I haven't been in to fowl long and was wondering about the prices off birds and how they've changed.....I was talking to a mate the other day who used to keep fowl and I sent him a pic of a bird I'd seen for sale. The bird in question was a asil stag and the lad was asking in the price off 175 to 200 and my mate couldn't believe it he said he and his mates rarely payed much for birds as people were more concerned about the people who were buying them more than the money they'd get in return.......so lads how as the prices of birds changed ...? Some birds are rare and hardly ever come up, iv payed a lot more than 200 for one bird, if you really think its worth it and you want it why not.

some poultry has always commanded big money, I used to breed toulouse geese as a lad and the most I made was £1000 at auction for pair thats over 30 years ago

this is a bit weird just posted more or less the same thing in another section, in my opinion good fowl

are never sold, easy enough to say maybe if your fortunate enough to know a few genuine lads in the game, so if you

don't well all I can say is, see what the going prices are, if you want to jump into the pool your gonna have to get your toes wet.

200, 300. 400 ive never sold a feather in my life but if asked to put on price would be a lot more than that.

remember whatever your initial outlay you will get back through years of pleasure. how much have we all put going down the pub ?

your eyes are your guide and your pocket your banker.
