juckler123 707
I cant comment on others methods but we would run all year round starting when they cut the silage and hay and on through the summer just making sure they werent run too hard ideally a run a day at least and then build em up to four or five runs as the season progressed. shaun v 3
pre ban come september i would increase there protien and carb intake, increase there there walk to a couple of hours a day, 1 hr mooching in the morning then 1 hr road work later, then as soon as we got decent ground, if i had pups i would go out either looking for kick ups or slip ins ,always making sure not to over run the pup, after that i would run it sparingly until i know the dog is strong enough mentally and physically to handle it, THERE WERE THE DAYS Quote Link to post
